The Dialysis Clinic (Barbados) was established with one mandate – quality. All aspects of clinical care and water quality exceed internationally recognised standards. The clinic was originally founded by Dr Emile Mohammed and Mr Mark Harris and is now owned and operated by Sils Dialysis. The clinic is available for all Barbadians, other Caribbean dialysis patients and visitors from around the world.
Dr Emile Mohammed is currently the acting Medical Director and Head of Nephrology Services at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital in Trinidad. He is also an Associate Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies. Prior to this, he was a Consultant Nephrologist and Head of Nephrology Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, and was also instrumental in the development and expansion of all aspects of kidney care on the island.
Dr Emile Mohammed is internationally trained and the depth of his renal training ranges from King’s College Hospital, London to the Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia. He has over 25 years experience with haemodialysis.
He is the Nephrologist at the Dialysis Clinic (Barbados) and is responsible for all aspects of clinical care. Dr Emile Mohammed works with an experienced, well-trained complement of dialysis nursing staff.

When making a booking at The Dialysis Clinic (Barbados), we will require certain medical details to be confirmed by your doctor plus confirmation within one month of your dialysis treatment date that you are medically certified free from MRSA, HIV and Hepatitis.
